EMES Digital Equality Fund

In June 2020 the EMES Executive Committee agreed to set up a Digital Equality Fund (DEF):

During the Covid-19 pandemic many Quakers held meeting for worship and other activities online. New for many Friends, online worship can include those for whom it is impractical to come in person to meeting for worship in a physical space. Some people are excluded from online worship: perhaps their internet connection is not strong enough, they do not have a suitable device or they do not have the technical knowhow to access meeting for worship online.

To help meet these challenges, we present the EMES Digital Equality Fund. Applications are invited from individuals around Europe and the Middle East. The grant limit is £250 (or equivalent in a different currency). Applicants and their meetings are encouraged to also make a financial contribution to the cost if this is possible.

How to apply:

This work fits with the EMES strategic aims on sustainability and increasing our technological capability in our current ten year strategy.

Spiritual Growth Fund
Alongside this special fund, which is only for individuals, the EMES Spiritual Growth Fund is available for individuals or meetings to apply for funding for projects and work. The objectives of, and how to apply to, the fund are listed here
