We invite young friends between the ages of 14 and 18 to the European Quaker Youthgroup!
The EMES Youthgroup meets monthly online. Each session begins with a short period of worship and ends with a slightly longer period of worship known as an ‘epilogue’; usually with a piece of music, image or reading to focus on. The meetings are informal and an opportunity to get to know other Young Friends around Europe. Please see the Quaker Youth Programmes page of our website for additional background information about the youthgroup and our other work with Young Friends.
We have a variety of different activities including inviting external speakers, discussions, art or craft activities and of course games. All participants are encouraged to offer activities and join in with the planning. If you would like to offer an activity please contact Michael Eccles.
The working languages of the meetings are English and German, but there is an option to tell us if you need support with another language on request interpretation on the registration form. Anyone aged 14-18 is welcome to join us.

We usually meet for around 1.5 hours starting at these times:
Saturday mornings
UK & Ireland: 10.00
Central European Time: 11.00
Eastern European Time: 12.00
Sunday afternoons
UK & Ireland: 15.30-17.30
Central European Time: 16.30
Eastern European Time: 17.30
Weekday evenings
UK & Ireland: 17.30
Central European Time: 18.30
Eastern European Time: 19.30
We hold an in person gathering each September alongside the Border Meeting. Parents or responsible adults travelling with Youthgroup participants would be able to register to join the Border Meeting (space permitting).
