Australian Quaker Centre
Australian Quaker Centre is a new initiative. For the next three months it will be held at the Silver Wattle Retreat Centre, about 15 km from Bungendore NSW. In this spacious landscape you will have time for private contemplation, browsing the library, bush walks and the very special experience of a learning and worshipping Quaker community. The Third Edition of the Australian directory for Travelling Friends has also been published. This lists information about Friends willing to be hosts to Quakers travelling in the Ministry, and willing to share their experience of faith, experience and action.
A copy of the Directory may be obtained by contacting the EMES office. A Travelling Minute or letter of introduction from the home Meeting of the Travelling Friend will be required.
